On 7th March 2019 in the Exeter Great Hall, I will be again celebrating the best that Exeter has to offer. I am proud to be a sponsor for the third year running of the Exeter Living Awards and similar to previous years, I am sponsoring the Events category.
The Events category is special to me as events are something I am very passionate about! I love attending them and organising an event is a special and exciting part of my job.
DM PR & Marketing recently organised a high-profile event in London. The event included a sporting match and then an evening black tie dinner; it took a year to plan and put it all together due to its nature. It was exhilarating (if a little exhausting) to reach the end of the evening and see all the smiles on everyone’s faces, in addition to the amount of money raised for a very worthy cause.
Detail is the key to a good event, get the small details right and it will run smoothly.
“From festivals, to community, to sporting, to corporate and all in between, events make a huge impact on the culture of a city – share your event successes and you could win the Event category.” I am very much looking forward to seeing the shortlist for this year’s Events category.
